New FAA policy on replacing vacuum attitude instruments with electric ones

Is that a VFR 150 ? An AI is purely optional in a VFR aircraft, my 1947 Cessna 140 has none. So, IMHO nothing is stopping you from pulling that “optional” vacuum AI and popping in the Sandia Quatro as soon as it receives it’s TSO.

Sadly not I tend to do a fair bit of IFR flying in one particular cessna 150
