Dear forum members,
I am in the process of purchasing a C340 that is currently based at Biggin Hill. Due to scheduling problems none of my trusted engineers is available during the next few weeks to conduct a prebuy inspection neither at the aircraft’s base nor here in Germany. The owner offered to have the inspection done by an independent maintenance facility at EGKB. The last annual was done by Steff Aviation based in DK, as far as I could see from the documents provided so far.
Can anyone recommend a reliable and trustworthy GA shop to do the prebuy in the interest of the prospective new owner?
