Yes, that's exactly what I said. VS tends to fluctuate much more than IAS which is rather sticky (ever seen your ASI needle fluctuate during cruise?). This makes constant IAS a nicer ride than constant VS.
Boeing will just get them installed, and some fussy check pilot will cover them with sticky note paper, and tell the pilot they should be able to fly an approach without them.
Maybe I’m missing something but I fail to see: a) why this thread is sticky, what its importance is b) where this thread brings map of customs airfields in Europe
I think a simple solution would be a user preference that can be set, or a link to the non-sticky version page, as I can’t remember exactly what the URL is that’s get rid of them.

I made it a “sticky” – is that what you are referring to? I am considering a mailing about the three fly-ins being discussed (Paris, Hungary, Croatia). Is this one definite?
As a matter of interest, if the runway/tarmac or grass before the displaced threshold, had say a pothole or sticky mud, would/should it be notamed as it is not part of the official LDA?
@XCP_Professional, How does your product affect friction – does it leave any sticky residue or, conversely, does it lubricate things? Is it any good at cleaning electrical contacts?
I remove that stuff with IPA (isopropyl alcohol). It takes a bit of work but comes off. That horrible coating was fashionable on laptops etc about 10 years ago and it goes sticky and falls apart.
