Is that a pic of you in the F16? Nice! I am working through your book. 6000fpm rate of descent on a FO; I don’t suppose you have a 10-page checklist

1. Fuel
2. Fuel
3. Fuel
4. Air
5. Spark

I think most checklists reflect something like that, with the fuel system part being about the only thing you can do anything about in the air. Air – a blocked air filter, perhaps. Spark – a failed magneto, so switch to one of the others.
