If I may suggest, even if you just think you might go just PPR and PN. You can always cancel at the ladt minute in case of bad weather. They do understand the problems of VFR flight.
If you can check before take off that Caen have actually received your FPL. For some reason VFR FPLs filed via Skydemon don’t actually reach Caen in some cases although Paris and Deauville seem to get them.
Ask ATC or the aéroclub at Caen about flying over the Normandy beaches there is a route that the locals follow which is an interesting flight.

The Abbaye des Hommes and the tomb of William the Conqueror aka Guillaume Duc de Normandie or Guillaume I is well worth a visit for those with an interest in médiéval history.
