Went flying last night and encountered the weirdest radio issue I had – ever. Radio 1 (a 430) worked perfectly fine. Radio 2 (some old King) however, displayed the following issue: any frequency below about 120 was crystal clear, anything above that produced only static / noise. The Nav part of said radio worked fine. The airplane is now with the mechanics, but any ideas what that could have been ? I’ve had my share of radio issues in the past, but that was a new one.
