Aircraft Sales agreement template

I’ve just emailed the agreement from my purchase. I’m no contract lawyer, but the key bits I pulled out are:

• Name and address of buyer
• Name and address of seller
• Date of agreement
• “Buyer buys, seller sells”
• Identify aircraft to be sold (manufacturer, model, serial number). Same for engine, propeller. List high-value parts/avionics.
• Items included in sale (e.g. headsets, covers…)
• Work to be done by seller before sale
• Mortgage status
• Agreed price
• VAT inc or exc?
• Deposit amount
• Date of transfer of funds: “ownership passes on receipt of full payment”.

Edit: AOPA have a 5-page template, but the only thing I would add is the location of the aircraft when sold, i.e. will the the seller deliver it, and where.
