Tissot-Charbonnier Océanair (TC-120, TC-160 TC-180)

Basically a kit-built DR400 with a straight wing. There’s almost nothing on the internet, but a few photos of the construction in this news article.

Quick google translate (corrected) from this 1-page article from Volez:

The amateur-built four-seater TC Océanair was designed by Remi Tissot at the request of André Charbonnier. The latter financed the construction of the prototype, carried out by the two men. The goal was to design a “homebuilt DR-400” but to avoid copying, the wings are a straight dihedral. The fuselage frames have also been revised. Rémi Tissot is not a novice with a dozen planes already built, including the first Lycoming O-235 powered Sicile-Record. For the wing, the Naca 23000 profile was modified, the angle of attack reduced to reduce drag when cruising. The prototype of the TC-160 (160 hp) Océanair flew in May 1996. Intended to remain unique, it aroused the interest of amateur constructors and plans were established, improving the aeroplane. Thus, by simplifying the construction of the spar (to avoid holes cut in the body and a large joint which may be critical), in order to be able to use wing tanks from Robin and avoid the unsightly angle of the non-vertical landing gear legs, the production version will be modified, with a straight wing up to the main gear. The diehedral is transferred to the outer parts with a wingtip at the same height as a DR-400. The fuselage is different from that of the DR-400 even if builders are now using DR-300 / 400 airframes. The range includes the TC-120, TC-160 and TC-180, 19 plans sold (400 €) with 8 aircraft in flight condition (a ninth was the victim of an in-flight collision). The designer built his own TC-120, equipped with a ground-adjustable pitch propeller from an Ambassador Potez. The prototype now flies at Mauléon’s aero-club.

That looks like a fat Bristel NG5 to me, for some reason I was thinking this is another pilot watch thread
