SF260-TP

Looks like it was doing its flying in Oklahoma, was sold to an Italian and the US Experimental Exhibition Airworthiness Cert has been cancelled. Link

It would be interesting to understand the process involved in moving this aircraft to another non-US register, assuming prior operation and maintenance under FAA Experimental Exhibition – which is basically wide open.

No 8.33 No Mode S and really really old radios. I wonder where it has been flying? Is it ex military?

I used to see one flying into my base occasionally, to join up with local piston powered variants. Those guys have seemingly moved on to Yak 50s and experimental jets for their fun, but from conversation some years ago I remember that the issue with the turbine SF260 was limited fuel capacity and range.

Have not seen one available for civilians. The Allison is flat rated at 350HP and gives you 205 KTAS at FL120.
