According to news agencies:
“According to flight-tracking website FlightRadar24, the aircraft, which took off from Sharjah International Airport on Sunday, rapidly gained altitude a little over an hour into the flight then “dropped drastically within minutes.”"
“While it is unknown what caused the crash, a witness told Iran state television that the plane was on fire before it hit the mountain.”
“Weather conditions at the accident site include thunderstorms, heavy winds and rain.”
Icing? Hit by lightning? Shot down? Climbing at constant VS and stalled?

I do not think it has been shot down, Iran territory is not that hostile.
Many (most?) eyewitnesses to aircraft crashes describe the plane as ‘being on fire in the air’, while in reality this is rarely the case.
