Mobil 1 – a very expensive oil – is not suitable for our air cooled aero engines but has some very good uses but needs to be used with care, as described.
Never heard of Mobile One.

Isn’t it for making bread?
I am sure many are rebrands. For example it’s often been said that TOTAL aviation oil is a rebrand of another.
Phillips 66 is still around.
Just been reading a 1974 continental IO-360 operators manual and what struck me was the number of approved oil products
BP
Castrol
Conoco
Delta
ESSO
Pennzoil
Phillips 66
Quaker State
Socony-mobil
Shell
Sinclair
Texaco
Union
These days I can think of hardly any
Aeroshell
Total – but I don’t remember them when I was younger
And that’s it
I can remember
mobile one – less said the better
Castrol – I remember them leaving the aviation market a few years ago.
Bakers Oil – and I’m don’t think that was even an aviation oil.
