suddenly a quite different tone.
I don’t think there is a general “obligation” to provide mogas. Most GA airfields don’t carry it.
Also, is mogas car petrol, with ethanol etc?
There was no suggestion of any obligation, not even quoted, merely an inquiry. The response to which was initially not very encouraging, and then suddenly a good deal more. Better like this than the other way round!
As for the meaning of “MoGas” I think that has been discussed to death here and elsewhere; indeed some people seem to insist there exists aviation-specific MoGas, which I still have to come across (or should wish to apply the term to UL91). But if clarification is still needed my plane and engine are happy to go with 95E10 from my village roadside petrol station.
We might be in for this. En route to Astypalea LGPL?
I was having the identical thought – Bordeaux then Astypalea
For info, I have negotiated access to the Jet A1 pump during the event
Jim. That’s terrific.
Ross and I in EO are booked in!
Hi Jim
How’s this shaping up?
Russell
Any news on this? Starting to plan September…
I think I’ll be there. Would be interested to get some news too.
This fly-in is very much still on.
I have had less time to spend on forums in the last few weeks due to recently becoming a father!
Will publish detailed information in the course of next week.
