in short Cessna has a maintenance instruction requiring belts to be exchanged every 10 years on some models. This is enforced in some EU countries. In some cases exchanging the belts or rewebbing them has made the belts worse than they were.
Our belts are not worn but our CAMO says they soon need replacing. I hope to stall it and wait for part m light to hopefully solve the problem.
