Amazing news today. Yet another project launched at Textron !
Looks like a slightly bigger Twin Otter, 2017 style. The Twin Otter seems still in production, I was surprised.
It seems amusing that this plane will get PT6s whereas the Denali will get the new GE turboprop engine.
Maybe the GE engine doesn’t make progress as expected 
Textron kept good relations with PWC. Fun to “see” these kind of “politics” being played real size

It does look like a Twin Otter, but its specs (1000m runway!) place it in quite another category. More an alternative for the B1900 – as commented under the article.

The PT6 will have been chosen because Fedex have ordered 100, and they already operate the Caravan with a PT6. Maintenance commonality is a big consideration.
