-49C at FL280. Was 3 degrees away from requiring descent due to fuel temp limitations. Big delays into London airports. Nice to be in a GA plane with no delays.
So you landed where?

Good to hear you didn’t do a BA038.
Landed Oxford. Departed EDDB.

Indeed although while I had a fuel temp warning, interestingly the fuel filter warning didn’t come on. Often icing in the fuel filter leads to a bypass even at much warmer temperatures. Must have had very “dry” fuel today.
That is cold.
Diid the cabin heat cope ok?
E
It was cold the day before as I had -30C OAT and -10 inside at FL180. It is getting too cold to fly. lol

Actually it did. Compared to the Mirage, the Meridian of course uses bleed air which copes better at lower temps than the heating driven off a piston engine.

I totally agree. brrrrrrrrrrr

Well, that’s cold. Although my turbine doesn’t produce much bleed air in FL200, it is still +10 or more (haven’t measured it) with -30 outside.
