FWIW it is interesting how in the US you can recycle tail numbers. N718TB became N88GT 21 years ago, but the accident plane is back to N718TB.
If a fatigue crack was present before the plane hit the SUV, there should be some beachmarks indicating propagation before the static failure. A lab metallurgical analysis would easily tell.
I think that bolt looks suspicious. If that’s a normal AN bolt, and the nut is a self locking (nylon) bolt, and I count 5 threads outside the bolt, then the bolt is/could be screwed on past the threads of the bolt.
