Anyone have any other good links to EU wide, and/or country specific, lightning/thunderstorm occurrence maps that cover a longer period?
I’m surprised the Pyrenees region doesn’t get more thunderstorms activity!?

The main sferics (lightining) site is Blitzortung
I see they have just “improved” it with sound effects etc but you can uncheck those options.
This is an excellent facility, free, and virtually real time, with a 1 minute delay.
But I don’t know of any archive sites.

Did you choose a Spanish station in the menu? If you take e.g. Malaga you get more TS activity over the Pyrenees than selecting a station somewhere in
Northern Europe …
