Flying a floatplane in Seattle.


I spend last Sunday morning doing splash and goes in the Seattle area – the moment the guy in the right hand seat told me to taxi and park aircraft at the beach was perhaps the the highlight there. But there is no breaking news in the text anyway.

For some reason different seaplanes in various, mostly Canadian, surroundings, have been my screen savers for the last couple years. I have never even been near one and chances are slim in the future. Does the envy shine through? :-)
