For some reason different seaplanes in various, mostly Canadian, surroundings, have been my screen savers for the last couple years. I have never even been near one and chances are slim in the future. Does the envy shine through? :-)

I spend last Sunday morning doing splash and goes in the Seattle area – the moment the guy in the right hand seat told me to taxi and park aircraft at the beach was perhaps the the highlight there.
