Eshott airfield, north of Newcastle are applying for a permanent reinstatement of the operating hours from 07.00 – 23.00 after the trial period has now ended. Current operational hours are restricted to 09.00 – 19.00.
If you’ve ever flown into or out of Eshott, the airfield needs your support. Its a really fantastic airfield with 2 tarmac runways, a whole list of other leisure activities on site, an annual fly-in, a cracking little club house etc.
