A non-EASA aircraft is not necessarily aircraft without an ICAO C of A.
All Annex 2 aircraft have a full C of A, but issued nationally (e.g. by the UK CAA) rather than an EASA C of A. For example an Auster or a PA18 are Annex 2 types.
