Rental in Tenerife

Good morning fellow aviators!

My lovely wife surprised me today with her well-thought decision to spend the family holidays at the end of october in Tenerife.
So far so good. Now, being the stereotipical guy who hates sand and water and loves flying my first question to her was if I could do some flying while there, which was answered by a shrug :)

A quick Google search spits out a few flying schools in Tenerife, but I thought I ask here at EuroGA about the possibility to rent a (simple) aircraft for some touring of the island(s). Fresh from my PPL, I would prefer some of the “usual” suspects to do some flights there.
