Using Jeppesen plates in PDF form

Currently I use AIP plates and when downloaded from Eurocontrol these come as one plate in one PDF. For some countries the file name even contains the description of plate (e.g SID_RW05) so it’s not hard to choose the proper one from airport directory containing plates. If I print plates from JeppView, all plates for one airport come as one PDF. The question for pilots that use such PDF on tablet is whether you have problems finding proper plate.

I personally prefer to have one PDF file per airport. However, I use a reader that supports three methods of leafing through the pages: page by page with a finger swipe, page by page with volume buttons, and a pop-up slider at the bottom of the screen that scrolls through entire file in one motion.

LKBU (near Prague), Czech Republic

I use GoodReader and it allows swipe and browsing through document with doc slider at bottom.

I prefer one PDF per airport too, but with a clickable table of contents

LSZK, Switzerland

GoodReader can show all pages as thumbnails.
