Swedish AOPA gives free membership for 1 year after one’s first solo. So I applied. The local magazine is thin, but there is always something of interest. Ideas of places to visit if nothing else.
After 1 year they sent the normal renewal form for all of 35€. That’s 21 minutes of flight time. I have not had the occasion to attend any of the meetings yet, they tend to be around Stockholm and I am not, but I like the idea of a body lobbying for GA.
Dutch AOPA do the same
Belgian AOPA seems virtually dead, at least I do find anything except a FB page.
Czech AOPA doesn’t even exist despite a fairly lively GA scene here.
