Popped up for a quick local today, and for some cloud drilling
The middle one was slightly photoshopped.
One more, showing the fog layer north of Shoreham
A few shots from recent flights in the north of Germany…
Short lunch break at Kiel, in wonderful (but windy) post-frontal weather.
Dancing with the (icy!) clouds on the approach into Luebeck.
The Bay of Luebeck, near Sierksdorf.
Sonderborg, on the Danish Isle of Als.
Nothing special, just a local flight yesterday, but the sky was beautiful and the light special.
I do love seeing CAT below me.
This was Qantas 15 (Airbus 380), 1000ft above. Couldn’t find manual focus fast enough.
Great Pictures, Jason. Would like to join you up there (sometimes), but the highest so far was FL 180 – I guess about half of your altitude
I’ve had airliners below me too (obviously when they were landing or departing) but it’s damn hard to get anything to focus on them. And “infinity” focus doesn’t work correctly on most cameras, especially on phones. If it worked, one would just set any camera to “infinity” for all airborne shooting.
Some night flying pics Luxemburg ELLX to Münster EDDG.
Taken at the airstrip on a windy afternoon.
Your hair appears remarkably stable for a windy afternoon….
