I don’t know if you heard but EASA is going on a roadshow for GA in the countries.
They were recently in France and the french magazine “Aviation & Pilote” was there and compiled what reads as a very positive article, even providing links to slides presented (I did not check the links).

They are talking about CS-STAN, the use of AMLs for STC, the possibility to rely in FAA STCs more easily, etc…
