Looks like the prop may have saved the belly from dragging along. If all they need is a new prop, that’s a pretty good outcome.
What kind of inspections are you looking at on the turbine after an incident like this?

Since the PT6 is a free turbine, you probably just have to inspect gearbox and hot section. I think the engine mounts and certainly anything related to prop would have to be replaced.
The firewall might be distorted too.
So it could work out expensive.
But it looks like it was very well done, with the prop off the ground till the last moment.
I suspect there may be cheaper places than Gander to do it, mind.
But it looks like a superb job.
I wonder if the foam was necessary and how much extra damage it did.
