I am planning for Konstanz, which was great last time in 2018.
Can recommend LFSJ for grass & short walk in to town.
In Belgium i would look at the area of EBZH or EBST. That time of the year you might be very lucky with the blooming fruit trees in that area.
The fruit trees will be more in the area of EBST, which has a concrete runway and a new hangar.
EBZH is the oldest airfield in Belgium and has a small grass strip (600m)

I’m thinking Konstanz is a better option, plus they have fuel, so one less thing to worry about. Don’t want to run the risk of problems at Markdorf.
The website doesn’t mention slot booking or PPR. Can anyone confirm if you can just “show up” there during the show weekend?
On the outbound leg, I have booked a room in Douzy, nearby LFSJ. On the return leg, I will stop at EBSH, with the hotel/restaurant on the airfield. Clearing immigration at LFAT, both ways.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

It’s first come, first served. I will also fly to Konstanz from 20 – 22 April.
