Jepp can however be very quick to terminate your subscription when you tell them you don’t want to renew.
I had the 6 month trial of JeppFD-VFR and when it was coming to an end they invoiced me ~ €300 for the annual cost. I faxed the invoice back with “no longer required” written on it and a day later the app would not start; presumably it does an online check and that was it. I don’t need it – not at that price.
It’s a pity because the app is supposed to run for 2 months after database expiry before it self destructs.
The self destruction is another thing I really hate, and on an Ipad you can’t fake the date/time unless it is jailbroken and even then I don’t know if anybody has done something for that.
