National CAA policies around Europe on busting pilots who bust controlled airspace (and danger areas)

Where is this article?

I’ve just seen another by the owner of a UK site, where he tried to find out from the CAA what is going on about the Barton Interpretation, and he got fobbed off by the usual “team” which pretended that nothing has changed.

In Flyer magazine.
But (not having read the article), you might speak of the same one.

As to why South’ampton would think themselves important I have little idea.

They would seem to have been on a downward spiral anyway, and I reckon from a quick look at their boards, movements per hour are now at least half the 2018 average, perhaps even less.

They seemed to cope fine in the mid 2000s, but now feel the need to go along with the CAA’s draconian policy, not, I might add, that I have found them to be anything other than excellent. (my comments based only on this thread, and perhaps there being forced into this policy by the CAA).

Fact of the matter, at this rate some of the airspace will need to be de-regualted.

I’ve posted on that forum; let’s see how long before it is deleted The site is packed with NATS and CAA people.

Presumably gasco can’t run in the current virus climate. It would be grossly irresponsible.

I think it may be allowed to run this time. Some influential posters have now drawn swords in the fight.

Are you saying you literally just got banned now in consequence?

Now you just need to ban yourself from EuroGA and you’ll have the ‘full Timothy’ ;-)

Yes, but it doesn’t matter. I spend negligible time on other forums nowadays and have done so for years. EuroGA keeps me busy enough.

Not really interested in supporting sites which run for advertising especially if they host nasty characters (which they all seem to; it’s good for traffic levels). I sometimes pop over to somewhere when something “blows up” and somebody tells me about it.

I can’t even begin to approach his post count. I think he was “around the clock” when Flyer banned him, some years ago.
