Just curious, how many people on here work full time in General Aviation?
It definitely gets people head-scratching when you tell them what you do. You must work in leasing, everyone in Ireland says. No, I deal in small aircraft up to ten seats is my normal reply. Of course, a PC12 isn’t exactly small but that’s what a stranger assumes when you go through the motions of explaining your field of work
I do, Well sort of, as I only give them 50% of my time – they would take 100%.
I have done it for the last 2 years.
For the last 30 years
Yes, since 2005, with a year off for medical reasons.
(and also “sort of” – on a 75% contract)
Does it count if you don’t do much work, but all that you do do is in GA?

I used to do that too until the global financial crisis wiped out all of my property ventures. The pressure of having to make a living out of it, versus having a good time out of it is notably different! I am envious of you all the same

I never fly without telling myself and those around me how lucky I am.
Not full time yet, but progressing nicely towards it.
What type of work you mean by working in GA? Air taxi or contractor/service provider for equipment compagnie? Other?
