If you opened a bar, what would you call it?

" Fully IMC " or perhaps " Vertigo "

Well, if it was a Western themed bar I would have to call it the “draw bar”.

If it was on a beach I’d call it “The sand Bar”.

If it sold ice cream I’d call it the “Publick bar”.

If it was somewhere near the overshoot or undershoot I’d call it “The Crash Pad”.

If it was on the North side of an East west runway I’d call it the “2 and 8, right?”.

If it was solely for pilots I’d call it “Braggers”.

If it was a mobile bar – The Fuel Truck.

The bathrooms would be “The Jerry Can”.

Last orders would be called by “Announcing Final Approach Fix”.

And if you wanted a double you would order a “Twin”.

In German, the syllable “bar” can be adjoint to a word, and that is done quite regularly. For example “unsinkbar” means unsinkable. In this regard a proposal for a bar’s name in german is “UnfliegBar”, that means “unflyable”.

But I would choose fliegBar
