One excellent airfield for customs if heading south into France is Laval (LFOV), located about 50 miles east of Rennes.
You can request customs with a simple e-mail to the guy in the tower, or by calling the customs guys on their mobile.
It is supposedly an AFIS with FR Only, but you can get English service with 24H notice, which is the same as what you need for customs, so just request both at the same time.

LFOV is almost the first airport I have heard of where you can get customs/immigration and it is FR-only! There was another one which I don’t remember but that one was FR-only only when ATC went home, in the evening.
I just checked the VAC for Laval, and sure enough…

The reason I did not share is that the email address is the AFIS guy’s personal address and the mobile numbers were given to me by the customs officers themselves.
Not sure they want them posted on a public forum.
Otherwise you can just call the number on the chart :-)
