This week I’ve been privileged to test two SEP renewals for people getting back into flying, two NPPLs for Motorglider new pilots, one new PPL on Cessna 152 and fly four Air Cadets on their first ever flights in a light aircraft. Ages ranged from 13 to 50s, occupation from PhD academic through lorry driver. Despite the all too frequent doom and gloom being promulgated, the interest and new blood in UK GA is definitely there – we just need to keep these people involved and enthused now!
…at last. Sure beats threads about death, doom and gloom!
