Proposed Level 7 Language Proficiency: " Can easily understand a Level 4 speaker, without using “say again”.
Interestingly I got Level 6 German without self-declaring anything. It just happened automatically without any further input from me. English is only Level 4 because the place where I did the test doesn’t offer any of the higher levels. The latter concept seems strange to me.
