Literally translated as ‘the aeroplanes at the end of the world’, I just discovered this French series on TV5monde which should be watchable without any geographic restrictions.
I’ve only seen one episode, but it was very good: a Loganair pilot operating an island-hopping bus service around the Orkneys with a Britten-Norman Islander. The flights vary from 90 seconds to 15 minutes; his record is 59 seconds.
Frustratingly, today they’ve just disappeared.
They were originally aired on France5 and the list of all 24 episodes is on their site.
10 of them are available on amazon in English, but have to be bought.
Worth watching if they appear again
