Because an Annual Inspection is valid, in reality, for 13 months since it is valid to the end of the 12th month following the Inspection, I have – over the last six years – moved mine from July (when I want to fly) back to February (when the weather is against me) without any penalty.
Now that the Annual is being done mid-winter, I am content to continue keeping it there.
