You have to be a pretty serious MacGyver to be able to find grass on a frozen lake at -15 in the middle of the winter 
That woman with the compressor probably also had some hay laying around in her barn though.
On a more serious note, Rotax has a small pocket with the most rudimentary tools meant to be brought along. I have never used it. I have punctured several times, and each time I would be stuck without help from other people.
