I’m looking for recommendations on aircraft paint shops. Any suggestions? Preferably in northern Europe.
Someone did his Mooney with Aeroskill in Netherlands, he was pleased with their service and I can understand why,
https://mooneyspace.com/topic/20145-g-obal-refit/page/6/One recommendation I have is RAS at Biggin Hill EGKB. Another long standing UK shop is Airtime at Bournemouth EGHH but I haven’t seen reports on them recently.
Posts moved to existing thread on same topic.
I heard great things of one in LFMZ, but definitely not northern Europe
The website of http://airtimepaint.co.uk/aircraft doesn’t provide an e-mail adress. (The contact page is broken.) Does someone happen to have an e-mail address to them?
Are Allen Aircraft Resprays still in business? Their web site seems to be gone.
Their main URL is dead also http://www.airtimeaviation.com/
This one is working https://airtimeparts.com/shop/ but it doesn’t look great…
Looks like Airtime have changed name: http://lightaircraftmaintenance.co.uk/
Hmmm, wot wun doz at this point is the usual thing and wot doz wun find?
“Changed name” reminds me of a great scene in some Al Pacino film
Back in the bad old days when I had to use a company for maintenance, which refused to grease my landing gear, I used to fly the plane to Airtime just to get the gear greased properly.
As I posted in the other paint thread:

Mick Allen has been about to retire for the last 10 years…. The truth is that he is semi retiring with the business now effectively part of Akki Aviation (the maintenance organisation at Turweston) but it’s still there and very much still going. Mick might not be there every day (in theory!) but his boys are and Mick will be there when required to do his bit.
I was a very satisfied customer of Mick Allen last year. The maintenance firm working with him also impressed me. And Turweston was a very helpful airfield.
