The other day I was talking to Farnborough East and every time they transmitted there was a loud whistle.
Others’ transmissions did not do that, and neither did mine.
I heard it on both radios, and with two different (both A20) headsets.
I told them about it and they said Thanks. Someone else however told them they could not hear any whistle.
It was about 2-3kHz.
Interference with a ground station on an adjacent frequency at your particular location?
Do they have several emitters at slightly different frequencies like London Info ?

IMHO definitely, to cover the area. But I had not noticed this before.
