FlyGarmin Pilotpak - a cheaper way to get Jepp data for MFDs?

I have come across this but find the product options totally confusing. Has anyone been down this road?

Jeppesen have a corresponding site here and again I can’t work out what it means.

The rough cost for Jeppview, single user installation, for Europe VFR+IFR terminal charts, is nowadays around €900/year. Has there been a change to this, or does the above stuff merely represent a new pricing structure for panel mounted products plus say an Ipad?

I’m interested in this. I need to keep a GTN650 updated and would like the Jepp Ipad FD.
I need coverage for nothern Europe.I’ve read about splitting keys among users etc.
What would be my best setup?

It doesn’t look like anything has changed. For an integrated panel you can get a Garmin PilotPak which includes obstacle, terrain, safetaxi etc. The jeppesen stuff then needs to be purchased separately to get nav data, approach plates etc.

They are both updated using different pieces of software so would be surprised if they manage to integrate them!

I went through this earlier.

I decided for the following for my GTN:

+ Terrain/obstacles, safetaxi, basemap hardly changes, so I will buy single updates every 3 years or so
+ Need NAVDATA to be legal. For some reason Jeppesen NavData updates for Europe is cheaper than Garmin.
Paying around 350€ a year
