The KEA130A encoding altimeter was eventually swapped. I have a shelf spare… It certainly improved things, to the point where it is noticeable only if you look for it very carefully. However the company I sent the existing one to (Castleberry in Texas) reported as it being in spec, so I had it overhauled anyway…
