The great thing about GP’s database concierge is you never have to worry about missing an update. So it was quite a let down yesterday to get into the aircraft and see the new cycle (and indeed the whole NavData section) was missing from the Database Concierge on my iPad and iPhone. The others (obstacles, basemap, charts) are there so it’s weird. I’ve contacted Garmin but would like to know if I’m an isolated case, if someone can bother firing up their iPad to check… Thanks !
Red face moment, my avionics database had expired, and not having received a renewal email from Garmin I simply didn’t realise. Garmin Pilot only displays your sub expiry date for the app, not for the avionics.
