I have been flying quite a lot around Europe. My suggestion to all GA pilots: Try Serbia and Montenegro. Fuel prices (for AVGAS) vary between 1 and 1,4 euros per litre, landing fees and ground handling ridiculously cheap and the cost to rent a car, find a decent hotel and excellent food is less than you would pay home.
Last time I checked, bith Podgirica and Tivat didn’t have Avgas any more.
In Serbia, Nis is usually closed and Belgrade can sometimes be a nightmare in terms of getting fuel, since it has become a very busy airport.
The “new” place to go for Avgas (when down in the southeast of Europe) is Skopje.
