No icing forecast - good to go (yeah, really?)

Urs, what is your homepage? danur.com?

But how do you want to interpret a product someone has done where you don't know the source nor the method?

Now is that an argument in favor of "government" weather services or "hobbyist" weather services? It seems to me that those "hobbyist" services are often way better documented than european "government" services. Take for example ogimet. The formulas for computing turbulence and icing is readily available in a few clicks. On the meteoswiss site, though, I mostly find marketing blurb about COSMO, but nothing really specific.

You know, I'm still trying to find out how to integrate this "METAR" and "TAF" product into my workflow. The takeaway message seems to be that it is pretty impossible to describe a simple overcast cloud layer with flat top and fluffy bottom using a METAR.
