It confirms my previous impression that there is basically zero light GA nowadys at Porto LPPR. Vilar de Luz it will be.

Landed at LPVL yesterday afternoon. The airport is huge (relatively) and seemingly deserted apart from what appears to be a thriving para-dropping community.

Fuel is tricky but we hope to find a solution. The Skydive outfit told us they no longer serve fuel to visitors due to complaints from Nordavia, the official distributor. The guys at the Skydive place told us Nordavia was our “only hope”, so not quite sure what that means. We’ll sort it out later. Maybe @geekyflyer knows more?

Our club used to get fuel from them a while ago. Give them a call, I’ve seen non local aircraft refuel from them few months back.
If you are at the airfield you can just pop in their office/hangar and ask for fuel. They are on the north/east side.

Having a wonderful time wandering around Porto , such a beautiful city! And the temperature is very pleasant, much cooler than in France right now. Will post more photos later.
@geekyflyer Just phoned Nortavia – they‘ve quoted €3,26/litre , to be paid in cash (?!) More expensive than Africa :( Why do I have that ripped off feeling?
Apart from that, Porto is a fantastic place :)

Bragança LPBG has Avgas too. It was 2,53 € a year ago.
