LFAT is no PNR and no GAR. “24/7” police. Flight plan, and fly.
The GAR is only for returning to the UK.
Remember the 14-18 Aug prohibited area around Eastbourne.

According to the AIP and the website, it’s 2 hrs but still better than the 4hrs last year.
I would normally use Calais as in several visits they’ve only once charged me a landing fee.
I was looking for a ‘deeper’ option but of the ones I’ve found, nothing gives a particular benefit. LFAC or LFAT means no onward issues if we need to make last minute changes but just adds a stop as we’ll probably not do Cannes in 1 hit.
I asked the police at LFAT and they say the 2hrs in the AIP / on the website is not needed because they are always there.
