Do you still recommend Iberia?
Hi. I have not been there in the last couple of years, but it should be the same as before. Summer is bad in general though: they are too busy and you are bound for bad service (ie long wait at the aircraft and moody IB people picking you up)

I’ll dare to risk it. I’ll give them a courtesy ring and send them a GENDEC and ring them on arrival. It’s all I can think.
On the way back via the main terminal, where do you head too?
Used to be security access to the LH of the check in counters (I believe it was next to #1, but I am sure it is explained eleswhere in this thread). I strongly suggest to use the GENDEC form as posted in this thread

I’ll have a look. Yeah I remember you saying to use that, the only issue I have is that it’s a picture of it? Would AENA have a copy of it?
Does anyone know where I can get cones from? What is the specification? SLCA won’t refuel the aircraft without cones.
Iberia will not provide them, only escort to/from the terminal. I’ve got enough space to take poxy cones with me to Ibiza….
AENA won’t answer me unless it’s the Handling Agent. Lol
Any big box hardware / home improvement store should sell them. Can’t remember a UK brand now, but something like Home Depot here.
Iberia replied to my email, sent me there BACS details and requesting NIF or CIF, guessing VAT no will work? It did for Iberia at Girona.
SLCA was pretty difficult to arrange JetA1 for arrival, they just said Cones and Stand number.
So yeah if this all goes well, should be 100 EUR for a week in Ibiza Airport.

I’ve got x4 of these, one for the front, one for each wing and one at the back.

Cones?? Is that to make sure that the truck does not bump into the aircraft? For a DA40??
No, I am tempted to think it is unofficially in order to make sure you hire proper handling
Hi,
Apparently it is an AENA rule but it not enforced in every aiport. So far I have had issues with that only in Pamplona (LEPP). Nevertheles, I solved the problem by buying three collapsible cones at a local store. Whenever they say I must use cones, I open my baggage compartment and I take out mine.
