Contemplating a second trip from Colorado USA to Europe in a Piper Meridian. In need of recommendations!

I would also recommend Buochs (LSZC) in Switzerland for its gorgeous approach around Birkenstock and proximity to Lucerne. There’s loads to do in the area, so you could spend a couple days there for sure. It’s about 100CHF to land there, which means there’s hardly any GA traffic, but well worth it IMHO.

Gdansk is gorgeous and the costs are laughably small for a large international airport. Definitely recommended. Also Vilnius is a cool city worth visiting, though the costs will definitely be higher. However I’m not sure I’d let that hold me back considering they will be small compared to the fuel burned to get there!

Hi @dutch_flyer – what were the costs for Gdansk? Did you require handling, if so, how did you organise this?

EDL*, Germany

No handling required at Gdansk. Landing fees 30€ approx.
You can simply fly there. Easy going.
There’s also a live webcam pointing to the approach ;)

Would just use RocketRoute for the whole thing!

Global, planning and filing, charts and can do eAPIS and GAR submissions.

For a little extra their concierge team will sort everything for you.
