I’ve just been reading up on the Hellenic Airforce, which is much larger than I realised. Admittedly obvious in hindsight, next door to Turkey and with many islands.
Each Summer a new Greek island, appointment with friends.
Last was Naxos landing in Paros next is Lemnos…. Your report is spot on for me.

Don’t worry 
I just plan to triple my airtime, keeping fun flying at the same level. It requires diligent shifts planning and hoping the weather will cooperate during free time.
